Zeeland Community Hospital
The 149,600-square-foot replacement facility for Zeeland Community Hospital required approximately 6 miles of process and plumbing piping, a complete state of the art medical gas system and the most technologically advanced mechanical system, which needed to be installed in a very tightly scheduled time frame. One of the largest challenges faced was the coordination required to place seven customized 60ft long air handling units on the roof. The steel framing, pads, duct openings, piping, access panels, electrical and controls had to be exactly located months prior to the actual installation of the units.
